TERMS & CONDITIONS

It is agreed as follows:

1. That Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd will provide for the Hirer’s use, ex Melbourne, the listed vehicles and/or equipment for the stated hire period and thereafter for additional days, if available, for a pro rata of this weekly rate under identical conditions

2. That the drivers of the vehicles shall hold a current full drivers licence within the country of Australia and is qualified to operate the class of vehicle being hired. Vehicle driver’s will be requested to complete a ‘Driver’s info form’ (supplied by Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd ) which will be held on file at Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd until completion of hire and destroyed upon request at end of contract.

3. Alternative licensed drivers will only be used in cases of emergency, and that Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd will be notified whenever this occurs.

4. That no driver, nor driving schedule for the vehicles will contravene Heavy Vehicle Driving Regulations in any State of Australia.

5. That Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd shall, without limiting any Damage clauses in this agreement, supply and maintain the vehicles in a mechanically sound and roadworthy condition

6. That Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd will provide the vehicle full of fuel and the Hirer shall be responsible for the cost of maintaining the use of quality fuel for the duration of the hire period and return the vehicle full of fuel upon completion of the hire period or pay Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd the cost of doing so.

7. That Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd is to provide the vehicle/equipment in a clean and tidy condition and the Hirer agrees to maintain the vehicle/equipment in a clean and tidy condition for the duration of the hire period at the Hirer’s cost

8. That the Hirer shall replace and/or repair any damage to equipment supplied by Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd during the hire period. That Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd will maintain a comprehensive insurance policy on the vehicles and/or equipment during the hire period.

9. That the Hirer will be responsible during the hire period for the first $1000 damage to the vehicle (with additional excess of $450 if the driver is under 25 years of age and/or $300 if the driver has not held a full driving licence for more than two years)

10. That the Hirer will be responsible during the hire period for the first $2500 damage to fittings, Furnishing and/or any part that does not constitute a vehicle. This includes: Tanks, generators, plumbing, the pantec (body), etc.

11. That the Hirer will be responsible for all damages caused to vehicle if the vehicle is being used within the maneuvering areas or aprons of any airport of aerodrome.

12. That the Hirer will be responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle (including tyres) if the vehicle is driven off sealed roads during the hire period.

13. That the Hirer will provide adequate security for the vehicles during the hire period.

14. That the Hirer shall pay a fee for kilometres travelled outside the 25 kilometre CBD radius at $1.00 per Km for vehicles under 2 tonne, $1.25 for vehicles over 2 tonne and under 6 tonne. $1.50 for vehicles over 6 tonne.

15. That bookings for daily hire on vehicles and equipment require 24 hrs notice for cancellation. A cancellation fee for the total cost of the hire period applies.

16. That the cancellation of bookings made on vehicles and equipment for over and above 2 weeks require five working days notice. A cancellation fee of 25% the total cost of the hire period applies.

17. That the Hirer agrees not to load or carry any extra gear or equipment in the vehicle without prior consent  from Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd.

18. That the hirer shall read and check off the inventory list of each vehicle at the time of commencement of hire and agrees to replace and or be billed for any item of such inventory list not returned/damaged at the end of hire period.

19. That Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd shall supply the vehicle with consumables/equipment listed in an inventory list at commencement of hire and the Hirer shall be responsible for such consumables/equipment during the hire period and shall return the vehicle stocked as supplied at the commencement of hire agreement or pay Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd the cost of doing so.

20. That any traffic offences, fines for parking etc. committed by any representative of the Hirer during the hire period shall be paid for in full by the Hirer.

21. That in the event of any damage or loss to any vehicle and/or equipment during the hire period, the Hirer shall notify Red Fox Unit Services Pty Ltd within 24 Hours.
